Most chess database software can do that. Things like Chessbase, ScId, and ScId vs PC for sure.

Hi,
having a hard time formulating that title. I am looking for a tool, where I can setup a board, only putting a few key pieces on the board, and then look in a database for games played (e.g. chess.com database) that have that specific setup somewhere in the game.
For example, I am looking for games where whites knights end up on f3 and g3 in the italian, then use that to filter games from a given database. Is there something like that? Or is there demand for something like that?
