If you click where it says "moves", underneath the little box, it says "analysis board"
If you click on that, it will open the analysis board in a new smaller window.
I mean a
virgin one
you see? just to make the moves as I read the anotations like 1.e4 e5 2.Nd3 ... etc...
I started an blog (unpublished) and used that board for analysis. First his clear board (it doesn't, it takes you to the initial position) then start moving pieces around. Be careful though, you can make illegal moves doing this since you are in "set-up" mode.
If you find that it does not allow you to make a move, check to see if this move would cause the opponent to be in check, and then change whose move it is in the options. This is an artifact of the fact that you are making moves on a board which was designed to set-up positions for others to analyse--and if it is white's turn to move, then black cannot already be in check.
could I have some easy help for some one?
Well... I am finding it very hard to analyse these anotations in my mind. This problem would be over if Chess.com had an analysis board I could open in a diferent window at any time (I can't use the boards form my iniciated game, because it's impossible to change the moves before the current one). If there is this option and I don't know about it, just let me know.
If there is not, I would like some tips on how to imagine the board with these notations... if there are any.
The problem is that my board is a big one made of lether, very useful for transportation, but useless since my computer table is very small. I can't put in my legs while reading the anotations.
Along with that, I wouldn't mind (read it as "I would love" :D ) some exemplification, along with some interesting openings and easy situations, so I can try to visualize without the board.
thank you very much!!!
