Beating the center-counter gambit

What's even better about Rd7 is the following continuation if he DOESN'T take..which I found last night in my post-game analysis:
Going threw the game i felt you played well but the move he played with the queen was a bad move { IM andrew martin says to play that on his dvd about that opening} so maybe bad advice??? oh sorry Qd6 after you played NC3!!
That's a nice game, but black made some mistakes of course. It isn't like the fianchetto variation of the 3... Qd6 is a forced win for white. It is true that it's challenging for black, but if black plays accurately he can usually hold the balance.
Andy, would you dare to show me you can get a 90% score against my 3... Qa5 Scandinavian? Or at least beat me in one game? Just challenge me if you think you can do it
Well, I remember a long time ago talking to Eric Schiller about the center-counter gambit at the US Open in concord....probably 10-12 years ago. I asked him for an easy way to play against the center-counter, and he basically said, just ignore black and fienchetto and castle on the kingside, so that's what I do now. I thought this game was a great example of that, and also how grossly behind development black can get if they try lots of cute stuff with their queen.
