I entered a knight and pawn endgame thinking that I had winning chances and that there was no way I could lose this. Maybe this indicates my lack of positional understanding, but I'm sure I could have drawn this, or perhaps even won this, with correct play. This was an OTB game, 70 minutes with a 10-second delay. Time pressure was not a factor. I have not done the computer analysis, but did look at the opening explorer on chess.com. I would like to know how I should have played this endgame. My opponent was rated more than 100 points above me, but I did not know his rating before we played. I try to avoid looking at my opponent's rating.
