Yes, brilliant moves are the best moves that are considered "hard to find" though I don't think it's always the case.
Hey folks, I came here looking to understand the "brilliant" move as well. I think I get it better now. However, reviving a somewhat older post here to point that that those games in the OP, when looked at today by the chess engine, no longer contain any brilliant moves. Perhaps the standards have become higher, the depth deeper, or however you might want to put it.
reading the comments how does a computer asses a brilliant move if it can't asses it? Does it have like an a-ha moment where the specific move is more complex than the best move? sorry if this doesn't make sense my brain doesn't function at chess

They are moves that are actually more winning than the best move, once the computer realizes it and recalculates after it is played. It is complicated but people on here have explained it well in the past.

I actually just had my second brilliant move ever in a tournament game, and afterwards it said, "this was the best move, but very hard to find". So maybe the definition has changed a bit or maybe that is what is always has been

I believe the definition remains the same still. It's a move engines don't even consider at a lower depth but upon reaching deeper, it is found to be the best move (probably by a decent margin)

What i just assumed was that brilliant moves were just moves it took engines a long time to find.
only humans can detremine the brilliant moves.

Yes. But there's so many games being analyzed at chess.com that you can't use a human to mark the moves. Chess.com has to use the engine to mark the moves as brilliant

allot of brilliant moves are hard to understand unless you study the position but they make its easy on the application to follow why its good here is a move I found the lead me to mate the 2400 engine but I saw the mate so its why I understood the move but I definitely didn't think it was brilliant
I love how it marks the bongcloud as "brilliant"; it is normally a mistake or blunder

It's because I'm protecting the pawn attacking the queen and slowly forcing a checkmate its not the bong cloud but definitely looks like it good eye you can see the whole game on my Instagram faith_dream_happiness I posted it in my story
And it was from PRESSING THE HINT BUTTON.
