Actually this position is completely winning for black.
I also analyzed it with rybka 3.The winner is definitely black.
good for white.
I like the puzzle's idea, however just for all who weren't aware, if the knight takes on h8, or if it blocks check on h6, either move works to save the win for black...

I have changed the puzzel, white now has the advantage.
