Chess analysis acting strange.

When I entered a game into the analysis, some positions were reaching depth 99 very quickly. I clicked on each of the engine’s recommendations one at a time, and all of them were evaluated better for white).

Then I entered the position into a new analysis tab and it reached depth 28 in around the same amount of time, but gave a more believable evaluation. I am using Standard, NNUE engine, 99 maximum depth, 5 lines. FEN is 8/8/3kp2p/3n1p2/1pKP1P2/1P3BP1/8/8 b - - 0 1

Why does the analysis sometimes break?

If you copied the position, without move numbers, it's possible that in the first instance you were up on a draw condition, such as 50 moves with no captures or pawn moves, or triple repetition of position.

Based on the move numbers between the two, that seems most likely.
