I don't believe you. I think that that was abusive and I would like to teach him but my skype and facetime and stuff won't work for some reason.

I believe it depends on the colour of the cross. For example white crosses seem to be when the user has closed their own account while red crosses seem to be for bans. If you hover over the cross it does tell you a bit more information. In this case it is a white cross with "closed: inactive" when you hover over the cross, so I think he closed his own account.
