I think you need to look after the pawns more and think more how you play them.

d5 is book. Not necessarily a good book, but book nonetheless...
The problem with the planned Ba6 is that it's too slow. White obviously wants to connect his rook and queen, and once he chases your queen away, Ba6+ would just gain him yet another tempo.
