logical_chess26

thanks guys id appreciate analysis

logical_chess26

Really how so??

quny

maybe the opponent had to get of the computer so he/she offered a draw. Or maybe your opponent felt like his/her skill level was just 1200   and could not see your was just entering the middle game and u accepted the draw....

joshgregory7

i think you look better too.  because he looks passive and you look like some attacks could be made with some kingside attacks

"This position looked really drawish after turn 16, so we drew." LOL what are you a GM?

The position is extremely unclear as to who will win.

It's tough to say who has the advantage because it's still pretty even. I probably like Black's position slightly better because if I were White, having my g-pawn so extended would worry me. The doubled pawn on d6 shouldn't be too bad because it still controls the center very well. White is more aggressive and ahead in development. But Black has a very solid position overall.

the draw was not here. we played out 5 or 6 more moves and Logical played quickly, because he had to leave. He got two pawns down with a nice position, plz analyze THIS:

immortalgamer

whether it looks drawn to you or not...neither of you are to the level where you could force a draw because you want to.  Heck I'm rated 2000+ and I still have problems forcing draws in drawish looking positions.

Now to the game.  The game is obviously in Blacks favor materially speaking,

(8 pawns to 5...soon to be 7 to 5)  and positionally and Black should not have offered a draw. Possible continuation....

I have to agree that it is a little early to call it "drawish".  Black looks pretty solid in the position and there is still a lot of chess to go.

EinsteinFan1879

I don't understand what "drawish" means this early in the game. It is my guess that only very good players would be able to assess this position that deeply.

Wow......

I'd have captured the pawn with your light squared bishop, because now it's really inactive. I think you guys both feared the middle game due to it's high potential to blunder(because it's a very unclear game, Queen and king side are both very active with attacks/defence), but I don't think you should have accepted a draw. You won't get better in these kind of middle games if you accept the draw.

MRNChess

taking with the bishop loses to Nxf6+

omgCHECKMATE

you had the better position more space to move and you could have easily made attacks on his kingside
