Did my opponent cheat?

(reposting to fight oppression from the chess mafia) So I just played this daily game where I got destroyed and I'm not sure if my opponent cheated or not. I thought his last 3 moves especially were rather sus. Like, who would go e3 instead of Ke6 or Ke7 to stop my pawn? What do you think? (I was white in the game)

Ouch! He had a 95% accuracy but it was a daily game. Im looking at his account and there are games from April and before that are definitely human. But on April 16 he beat an account that was closed for fair play and hes mostly had crushing victories since then. So what do you think? Am I crazy? Am I Kramniking?

e3 is a nice tactic, but from the point of view of a 300-400 player who specialises in 10 minute games, it's not an obscure and difficult-to-find possibility. The two things that stand out in the position from my very beginner perspective, without analysis, are (1) although white's pawn wins the race to promotion, when it promotes, it isn't actually immediately threatening anything. Black's pawn, if left unstopped, arrives one move later but instantly checks the white king, with all sorts of follow-up checks. If I were short of time or short of brain-cells and didn't have the power to analyse anything, I'd still count myself unlucky if I didn't find myself in a position to cause white considerable trouble. (2) Black's rook has a check available, from which the white king must step forwards, which would make a second check forking the bishop available were it not for the pawn on f2, so getting rid of that pawn is obviously a good idea (taking it after e3 obviously doesn't work, but if black doesn't take it, e2 is hugely problematic for white because there's nothing able to defend the e1 square)

Thanks for your reply, thats a good analysis. My worry is that it's easier to reason backwards after seeing the move then it is to find it during the game. If it was the only winning move, then it would make sense as he'd exhaust all other options. I will take that as one vote for not cheating though.

Side note, you are way underrated! Stop resigning half your games lol! Never resign! You will be back at 600 at least in no time. The whole point of the rating system is to play opponents at a similar level so if you keep yourself down you're just gonna get easy games. There is a setting to disable chat you know if that is the problem

The site does not allow public accusations or if a specific player is cheating. If you suspect someone, report them using the option on their profile.
