Did my opponent cheat?
Taking a consistent amount of time on every move, even simple ones like a mate in one, is a strong indicator of engine use in online chess. A human's thinking time varies with the complexity of the move, whereas a cheater [link removed; no advertising - V39] using an engine will have a uniform delay because they must spend time inputting the move, waiting for the engine's response, and then executing it.
