Dunno why it starts at move 54... how do you fix?
Don't you hate it when these things happen?
In the diagram, there is a "set begin" button. So just position yourself to the right move and click a button.
That's it.
Try reading "Bobby Fischer Teaches Chess." You could learn alot about chess through Bobby Fischers games and skills.
When you play chess, make sure you have control of the squares.
Here are a couple of hints: You could have won White's Queen, and the game, with 12...Bxh2+. When ever the two Queens face each other with a piece in between, you have to be alert to the chance of a discovered attack. This is basic tactics. Use the Tactics Trainer!
Having missed 12...Bxh2+, you were behind until you got lucky when White missed the killing 24.Ne4+ and trapped his own Knight with 24.Nh7+ You should have played 24...Kg6. But then White forced you to win his Knight with 25.Re5+
Why did you consider offering a draw after 36.a3? You're completely winning--a whole rook ahead!
Thanks.
Note I have a 3 digit rating, still working on basic tactics :P
As for 36.a3, I just looked at that position, note exf5 and I lose a rook, my b and a pawns can't do much, and Ke7 is the only other move. (which seems to only end up with kings shuffling around) I fail to see how I could win.
*sigh* By move 27 I had this in the bag... *sigh*
