Endgame against Zakes Nene where I sacrificed my rook to push a pawn to the penultimate rank and create big pressure. Even a completely lost game can sometimes be won, but it takes courage!

Absolutely crazy but good !

Thats not a sac, thats a blunder.

32...Be6.

32…Nxd8 was a blunder because it allowed 33.e7, a double threat of e8=Q and exd8=Q, and black can’t defend both.

Definitely not a sac. Better watch out, because you might end up getting a blunder instead of the brilliant move you are (and were) chasing.

That e6 move was a trap, and quite a clever one. White is objectively lost no matter what (down a piece and 3 pawns for nothing), so there's no harm in trying to trick your opponent. And it worked. Spectacularly.

Of course 32...Nxd8 isn't the best move I have ever seen, but what's going on after 34...Ne6 35.e8=Q+ Kf6?

Black has ample material for the Queen, and I cannot see some way to force an advantage.

Nxd8 turns a "certain" win into a probable draw, and a further blunder (Rd2) turns it into a loss.
