" And the rest is a matter of technique " is a common annoyingly phrase in the chess literature but it's the reality of every chess player who attends to make a progress in order to convert a small advantage to a winning position or to force a draw. Chess is not as simple game as it looks. Sometimes we understand that we are standing positional better but that doesn't mean we know how to prove it! In my short period of playing chess I have countless of examples that prove the absent of enough technique to finish the job or to create a possible better advantage. Before couple a months I finished an interesting Queens Indian Petrossian system game were there are famous for providing positions that requires technical solutions. I didn't had enough appetite to spent time analyzing it but yesterday I found my inspiration to do so and I gave it a inside look. I am not sure if I have find all the answers I was looking for ,but I definitely become wiser and understood why some of my decisions were technically lame or at least dubious.
