exchange sacrifice

Hi ppl....here is one of my games where i did an knight sacrifice for two pawns and won....i want to know on what you think abt the game and how could i have better played.....

your comments are valuable to me...

The knight sacrifice was unsound, trading a minor piece for two pawns rarely is (even if it drags a king out).  Against a stronger opponent, your pawns would have been stopped, and you would have been overwhelmed by the extra piece.

Might have been sound if you traded it to pass two pawns on the sixth rank, but its extremely rare that such a sacrifice is sound early in the game.

I usually only do minor-for-two-pawns sacrifices if I can drag the opponent's King out. Otherwise, it's hard to compensate for the missing minor.
