It is brilliant because if black takes white rook then bishop g5 check to king and king can't captur bishop as queen is protecting bishop then black has only two choices to escape from check those are g6 then the white bishop takes the rook and white is up a knight as he sacrificed the rook by taking the knight e5 then white queen goes to f4 checking the black king , so black king can only go to d4 then white queen takes e4 pawn and it's checkmate
Explain me why this is brillant
Here I explain again clearly The rook is sacrificed and there is 2 chances black might take or not take If black takes the rook then bishop g5 check to black king then black can go to either g6 or e5 1. KING g6 If king goes to g6 the bishop will takes black rook and white is up 3 points e5 If king goes to e5 then black queen f4 check to black king black has only one square to move it is king d4 Then white queen takes the pawn on e4 and checkmates the black king So the best moves for black is to take the sacrificed rook and go to g6 in the next move Or Just don't take the rook
