Hi everyone,

I recently played a game against a 2100 Elo-rated opponent, and I’d really appreciate a human perspective on how I performed. I’m looking for constructive feedback on my strategic decisions, tactical awareness, and overall playstyle throughout the match.

I’ve attached the FEN (or you can find the game below), and I’d love to hear your thoughts on what I did well, where I went wrong, and how I can improve moving forward.

Thanks in advance for your insights!

I looked through the game and my first observation was that 3-minute blitz probably isn't the best for quality games with in-depth analysis, but all right. In the opening, I'd have prefered ...dxc6 rather than ...bxc6. Usually capture towards the center is better, but this is an exception to the rule because ...dxc4 helps you develop your c8 bishop, so it is basically like a developing move.

The rest of the game was mostly good for you, but nothing huge that stands out. White missed Nb2 trapping your rook at one point, but both of you had under 20 seconds and that's why it was probably overlooked.

You played a good game, but longer time controls with better quality are better for deeper analysis. I think you just wanted to show off a game where you beat a higher rated player
