I think in the position I would have even for black 19.-Bb4??

My Variate I have not commented. I think my train to 19 Variate are roughly on a par as the sequence of moves.

I think 7.Bxd5!? Qxd5 8.c4 Qd7 9.Rxe4 would have been interesting.

Bxh6 is an ok move made better with the knight fork

 Bxh6 is ok, but not great, I'm not sure I'd play it. Opponent should have answered with Rxh6 and he has the h-file for his rooks to work with against the king. 

Thanks, but I overlooked a very natural reply of Black's in that line... 8...Qxc4 9.Rxe4 after which it gets tactical and interesting. I still think White has the better of it.
