Good victory

Here's a good 5 min blitz game i had at the cafe  this morning.
My friend wrote down the moves on a piece of paper cause i want to improve my speed chess.

Do you guys think i could've been faster on the mate. i was not really looking for a fast way to do it, but an effective 1.

He was done for a long time, but he tried to run me out of time.
If you guys have any tip or anything to say about a move that could'Ve been better, i'm open to critic.

thanks for putting the game up. I suppose it's blitz!! But there are some pretty major blunders. Black's 12. ... Kc7 for example, when he can play 12. ... Qxd5+ winning a piece and leading to a playable position. And 16. ... h5 losing a rook for nothing when black could play, for example, 12. ... Re8+ or 12 ... Rf8 or even, at a push, 12. ... h6. Then, 20. ... Be2 is ludicrous - it must be a mouse slip under time pressure and I assume BxB was intended.

To finish quicker you should have focussed on queening your advanced pawn rather than allowing him to trade off the rook for it. So instead of 24. f8(=N) you should have played 24. KxN. The next move you move your knight on d7 and then play Rd8. Rooks are swapped off and you then queen your pawn. You probably end up with a rook and queen against a king with no piece to defend it. Winning from that position should be simple and quick. 

This game is a good example of how pressure affects people. i was almost out of time at end, he was not, but he was playing way too fast.

Thanks for making me realise i never look to profit off my material advantage.i was not really thinking about how has more or less material by the time._. - it's something to look at even if time's running down cause you can take somehow advantage of it.

The big blunder of this game is definitly the fact he did not took my knight with his queen, checking me at same time.(12. ... Qxd5+ instead of 12... Kc7 )

it is what really made me go trought his defenses, he must have totally miss it.

it was a board game, my friend was writing down moves, and i transposed em into the diagram so there's no slipclick. he maybe imagined he could fork my Bishop and Rook.. i really don't know.
