Help with adjournment please

This is an adjourned club match where I'm Black. I know my position is lost and I probably should resign, but I played very badly, my opponent is much lower rated, and I'll probably play on on the off chance he might mess it up.

Would appreciate advice on the best way to go about a swindle here. Those of you with chess engines (don't worry, it's fine under the league rules) might give me best replies to White's possible next moves if you're feeling generous.

Or do you think I'm being mad/disrespectful not to resign this?

No, I think you should definitley play this one out.  It is an interesting position, in that you King can blockade the pawn, and you have a pawn majority on one flank, that may be able to break through.

Yeah it feels like he could conceivably go wrong... having said that, it's hard to see a response to Rd6-a6... Suppose I'll try and get my Rook on the seventh and hope for the best...

I think after Rd6, you may consider f4, followed by f3, and then Rd7.  The purpose of this is to push his bishop away from blockading the pawn.

Asking help for an ongoing game ?

It is a game that has been played OTB, and has since been adjourned.  It is well known in the rules that an adjourned game can be shown to anyone in the hope of gaining advice, as well as analysing it by a computer.
