can i send the games via a chessbase file?
Chessbase has the capability of saving files in PGN format, which almost any chess app can read.

Sure, sanj. If you can't post them here, just send it to me by e-mail in pgn format. Check out my website (I link to it in the first post in this thread) - if you sign up, you'll receive an email with your free "Chess guide" pdf. Feel free to respond to that email with your game, if that's easiest for you!
I am on the black side of the board and would really appreciate if you could analyze this masterpiece of a chessgame ;-)
Hi Blakey.... that's a cool thing of you to do - nice one! I'll keep you in mind, and I'll go and check your website. Take care fella....David from the UK 👍👍
Here is a game that I just played. Time control: 15|10
I think I had the advantage almost the whole game and I could not translate it into a victory. What can you tell me about this game? Thanks in advance!
Hi here is a game I would like you to have a look at. This is a 30 min game. I struggled with the closed pawn positioning. BTW the video looked good just need the screen bigger.

Hi Blakey. First of all I thank you for analyzing my game and having made a video. It was very instructive and not every day an NM can keep an eye on your games in such detail.
I saw that in the video you had doubts about whether I had considered certain moves. Here they go:
19. Qb6 here I had the feeling that the white queen was in trouble and most likely trapped. It must be said that at this moment I only had 1:50 minutes left. I spent 42 seconds analyzing the option to play Nce5 or Nd4. I did not see a favorable continuation so I played Rg6, trying to attack the king. The play you suggest Nb4 honestly I did not see it.
When I played 22. Qe7 (the blunder where I give the pawn) I only had 38 seconds left (my opponent almost 11 minutes). And from there it isn't that I panicked, it was frustration and since I was going to resign, what followed were movements that I did not think at all. I play bullet and blitz and in fact my ratings in those modes are much higher than my rating in rapid. The reason why the frustration is so much is because I feel that I have been playing many games where I play better than my opponent and in the end I can not transform the advantage into victory and lose. In the games of 15 | 10 I've had a negative streak lately.
That would be.
Thank you very much again, you definitely have a new follower.

Oh ok, thanks for clarifying! That definitely helps me give more tailored advice.
So regarding missing the winning ...Nb4 move, I guess one lesson there is to expand your search for candidate moves in critical positions. You had a feeling that the queen was in trouble in b6, and if you would have taken a look at all the discovered attacks against it you could have found it! Of course, it might be easier to apply this advice in a longer game as opposed to 15/10.
Regarding frustrating - that makes a lot of sense, this is a problem that plagued me even when I was an expert and to a lesser extent even still today! Psychologically, going from a much better position to an equal or worse position is very tough - so much so that a lot of people psychologically give up. The truth is that after you lost the pawn, you're far from lost in that position. You did work the whole game to build up a great position and now it's unclear, maybe it's about equal or maybe you have a disadvantage....but the game's far from over. You're down a pawn, but your pieces are still really active compared to white's and you have some compensation. I know it's hard, but try to stay mentally tough when the tide turns like that and don't give up, a pawn deficit can be overcome!

I can't seem to get any higher than 1200 on my chess blitz rating. Do you have any advice?
Just keep playing and familiarize yourself with some openings, it took me about 1 year to pass 1200.
