Hello sir, Have you analyzed my game?
Hey everyone! I'm a Master willing to help analyze players' games for free. Is anyone interested?

Hello sir, Have you analyzed my game?
I don’t believe I have yet - you can always check the videos page on chessChesspathways.com to be sure!

A 9th Game Analysis video is finally posted on the Videos page of chesspathways.com ! Thanks to @Nightsheron for the annotated game

This is thr first game to which I add annotations, I should do this more often.
Thanks for the game, but why did you select a game you won? Given the numerous "!!" marks you give yourself, I'm not sure what questions you have about this game or what help you are looking for here. Wouldn't you rather receive help with a game you lost or struggled with?
This is just a game where your opponent blundered out of the opening and you got a decisive material advantage and converted it...what's there to look at?

I suppose you are right, well I do have plenty of games on which I blundered but right now I don't have time to analyse them. BTW I only used !! twice, I don't think that's much albeit I don't know how to weight the merit of x move since this is an old game.

A more recent game might be more instructive as well

Please analyze this game.

Please analyze this game.
Tell move numbers?

Could you please kindly take a look at this game? Quite complex at times, with lots of piece strategy as opposed to tactics.

He's going to tell you to write down your thoughts for the moves. The whole point of the exercise is to help you develop better ways of choosing your moves, and he can't do that unless you offer some input on why you selected the moves you did.

@hikarunaku haha sure if that's what you wanna think.
Oh just a side note, "wrong move, computer recommend checkmate in 35" is not how you annotate a game. You're suppose to give the variation that you were thinking of (ie why that move works), the move you could've played but doesn't, etc...
For example: Why 18...Nd6? What was the variation you were thinking of if white took with the knight? Even I don't honestly see right off the bat why that wouldn't just be a simple passed pawn advantage for white. Nd6 ed6 Qd6 Qg4? Why not 18... Nf6? Name specific line why that won't work,...
What do you exactly meant by "wrong move, should have check with rook"? Rad8? What's your attacking plan? Rd3? What's the follow up after Bd4 and Ke3? Anticipate opponent's future move will tremendously boosts your chess skill.
Computer (usually) doesn't provide explanation for why they move a certain way (at least not for amateurs who seek analysis in this thread). That's why @BlakeyBChess is providing this service. With that being said, he needs to know why player made such move to correct the wrong line of thought and improve them as a chess player. If you analyzes the game robotically by just listing the right move suggested by the engine without knowing why is it right and without providing your own calculation, you won't learn much.

Regarding Nd6,why would you open up your king?
Oh just a side note: You ain't a master, you are an amateur as well.

Aww come on hikarunaku. He's 2000+, it's pretty strong already no? Besides, he's just helping out, for free too. His comment about signing up for the world championship might have been a bit blunt, but still.

I don't know how the above game slipped away from me.
Hi Jimmy - you don't have to know exactly what went wrong, but in general if you want someone to help you analyze a game, you should be providing what you were thinking about each turn. Surely each of your moves had some sort of thought process that led to them. It doesn't matter if it's faulty or not - in fact, if your thinking process is faulty, all the better - that means I can help you learn something when I analyze it!
You really don't have any idea where things could have gone wrong though? Have you looked back through the game? You're down a pawn after 13 moves, right? Isn't that a sign that something went wrong in the tactical flurry that happened just prior? Have you looked back through these first 13 moves to try to figure out why you lost a pawn?
Hoping I can get to some more of these today or this weekend
