How can I edit pgn?

Hello everyone,

I would like to insert comments and variants in my games, especially the ones I play here and save in pgn. How can I do?

I tried chessbase reader. It allowed me to edit the file but I cannot find a way to save my changes.

Any ideas?

I use chessx. It's free. But I use a mac. I am not sure what there is for PC. There must be loads of stuff out there. 

Mind you, there is something I just noticed on chess.com

It allows you to paste a pgn in from one of your games and add comments etc.

I found less simple to work with the editor on chess.com. I have to paste the moves, but I do not know how to copy them from a pgn.

Anyway, it seems so strange that I cannot edit the pgn with Fritz 15!! Am I missing something?
