Threat of Bh5+, but it's easily answered with h5
Edit: or g4
You don't need to know anything here, Black is completely toast.
I would play 1.Ne4, although 1.0-0-0 is a close second.
I guess 1.Be2 has some Bh5+ in mind, but I wouldn't really bother.
What? You want white to play Bh5+?
Bh5 is a strong threat combined with threats from the e5 N and Q. Black can't capture the e5 knight just yet so why not? White must mobilise and should leave the d file open for a took. I would play Be2 there at any rate.
I don't know what you are talking about Bh5. There is no B on d1, e2, f3, g4, or h5.

16 Be2 threatening Bh5+ and after 16...h5 or 16...g4 17 Ne4 is crushing.
16 g3 is a missed opportunity.

g4 is not possible: 16. Be2 g4 17. Bxg4 and black can´t strike back: 17.... Qxg4 18. Nxg4...
h5 stops Bh5, but it´s an active developing move while h5 just prevents something (Bh5+) and gives white the opportunity to develop more pieces. Ne4 is a deadly centralized piece.
There are some cool checkmates in this position, but I will save them for later. I am looking for a fundamental explanation for playing 16. Be2 instead of g3 like I did in this position.
