How to castle in custom position in analysis? - Chess Forums

This is one of matches which was played couple of hours ago in Freestyle Chess Las Vegas

In this position,

analysis show kingside castling is fine, and Aronian did castle.

But, if I make a custom position and follow their moves,

and follow their moves,

I cannot castle and white is in much worse position compared to the original game. Why is that and how to castle?

I see the FEN of the game should be changed from qrkbnnbr/pppppppp/8/8/8/8/PPPPPPPP/QRKBNNBR w - - 0 1

to

qrkbnnbr/pppppppp/8/8/8/8/PPPPPPPP/QRKBNNBR w HBhb - 0 1

in both FEN and FEN in pgn

but what does HBhb mean??

Ok, got an answer. It looks like HBhb shows castling availability of each rooks!

H (White's rook on H file) can castle

B (White's rook on B file) can castle

h (Black's rook on h file) can castle

b (Black's rook on b file) can castle
