How to fight for equality from an inferior position

This was the second round of the six week Wednesday night u/2200 tournament at the Marshall Chess Club. In round one, I faced a much stronger player and got an inferior position out of the opening. I analyzed the entire game, as I usually do here. However, this time I am going to to something a bit different. As the title implies, I had an inferior endgame but managed to obtain a draw. Rather than analyze the entire game from start to finish, I want to start at a certain point and describe the steps I took and that you all should take as well to salvage a draw from the poor position I had.

Well, I hope that was instructive. I hope you all learn something from this, and feel free to post any come-from-behind draws or victories that you may have. I'm off next week, but on the 23rd I'll be back for round 4. Hopefully I'll get my first win of the tournament!
