You aren't correct. A blunder can never be a brilliant move.
If you look at chess.com’s definition of a brilliant move , it says brilliant moves are a good piece sacrifice and are always or nearly always the best move.
10 step calculations aren't required. For most of them, two move calculation is sufficient.
