Hello community,

I dont understand how the queen is considered a trapped piece here?

The pawn on f7 can block my bishops attack on the queen? In the follow up the computer shows, queen takes bishop and knight takes queen...

Am I missing something?

Thanks in advance! Have a great day

Yes, if you interpose the f7 pawn to stop the attack on your queen, then the e pawn takes the f pawn and if you take back with the g pawn, then the knight on h6 is undefended.

That's all I see.  I can't see any way to actually trap the queen.

must be simple a little glitch i guess then happy.png

When i clicked "Show" the queen simply beat the bishop and got taken by the queen. Whyever. Thanks for the effort!

"Game review" is insanely bad. It uses super shallow analysis by the engine, and then it talks complete nonsense. As a bonus, it makes it impossible to figure out why a move is bad or good.

Don't use Game review. Instead, click on the magnifying glass icon (under the speech bubble), that takes you to engine analysis.

Opinion is divided on Game Review.

Some people figure it's crazy.

Others insist that it's just drunk.
