-- this is not by any means my worse whumping - - my worse whumping was at the hands of a chess " Lady " - - - it was on another chess site - - - and her name was Susan - " something or other " - and her chess moniker was - Sue nami -
- well I thought the opening was o kay and I thought I was in better position
- and I thought the middle game was o kay and I thought I was in better position
- then she launched an attack and in several moves she was able to be pinning my players / skewing my players / forking my players / she was in position to take any and most of all my principle players but she did not
- instead what she did was put me in check mate -
- she taught me a lot - never , never , never , never play a lady named Sue nami
- sure I " lose " lots of games but in this game I lost really badly - I am not asking for super detailed analysis - ( this is an illustration of what NOT to do ) - and I hate playing black - if I played white I probably would have lost because he seems to be a real good player - but I would not have lost this bad
- as I was advancing my pawns I thought I was doing o kay - but it did not take me too long to realize
1/ his pieces were in play and in good position
2/ my pieces were not in play and were in the way of each other - so the pieces I did have in play were out numbered
3 / I was wondering at what point was the turning point - at what point did I lose this game - ( eg the move number ) - like I know it probably was really early
( before I realized I lost it I was under the illusion I was alright and that I was taking and occupying space and getting ready to move my players into the spaces - ouch how wrong I was )
