I can't quite visualize what you're describing. Would it be possible to post the actual opening moves for both sides?
You could also set up a board and play it out that way.

Here, the starting setup for black.
I didnt show the white moves.
Black almost blindly starts with this opening. What move sequence for white shud provide a counter
We need to know whites moves AND the order you made them to give help, because what to do depends very much on what was done and the order it was done in.
The position he made, disables the movement of your bishops & knights. So to counter this kind of attack, use pawns & open up so that you can provide defense to your pawns & also threaten the position of his pawns.something like this might work:

Don't try this, it's rubish! Develop your pices and open up the center, he moves to many pawns. But if you let him play with a closed center he may survive and even get the upper hand.
i am a newbie and my opponent used the same tactic against me to win on 2 different occasions. Can u help me with a possible solution.
He played with Black.
He starts off with creating a pawn structure with following moves
1) pawn on f6
2) pawns on c6, d5,e5 in any order
with this black frees up both the bishops
and then use of knight to attack, And castling to defend.
How to gain an advantage and try to manouvre a win for white with this starting pawn structure with pawns on c6,d5,e5 and f6.
