No. In closed positions, knights are better than bishops. "It depends on the pawn structure" is absolutely right.
YES!!!!! You are correct!!!!! Again!!!!

Knights are better because they can do good forks and capture queens
A pawn can capture a queen.
Could the pawn take the queen there?
Unless I'm mistaken, the conversation went roughly like this:
Simonfromage claimed that Knights are better because they can fork, and capture a Queen. He said nothing about "in this position".
Boriskravitz pointed out that Pawns can do the same. A Pawn can also fork and capture a Queen. He said nothing about "in this position".
You asked "How?", and I answered "By playing Pawn takes Queen". I said nothing about "in this position".
Then you picked up the goalposts and moved them way down to the other end of the field by demanding "In this position"?
I'm afraid you cannot win an argument by moving the goal-posts. Not even on the Internet.
A bishop can have a material value of between 3.25 to 3.50 depending on the particular game and position. A Knight is always only 3. If your opponent wants to make a senseless even trade of his bishop for your knight, always accept it.
