playing the KID I actually prefer c5 to e5 when his black bishop is on that position.

How about 13... e4 14. Nd2- Nd6 (15. Sdxe4-Sxe4 16.Sxe4- Lxa1)?

With the idea of f5.

 I have a pawn on d6. Do you mean 14...Ncd7? During that time I was looking at that diagonal and that move (e4), but I was concerned that that would weaken my pawn so I wanted to play f5 first, which didn't work since it weakened my position.
