prove it
The first time I won was before I had an account. Took a screenshot, and set up an account. Beat 29 year old again right off the bat, and have since lost 11 times in a row. Beginner's luck I believe. But, maybe I'll keep playing lower levels to learn.
Googled beat Magnus 29 and found this thread. Seriously tho, someone mentioned earlier that this is a common’ish thing to happen. The bot blunders every now and then.
Well, all I can say is I posted the replay. You guys would know better than me whether I played a good game or not. Do those moves look normal for age 29? I can tell you that I’ve not gotten anywhere close to a game like that since I beat him those two times.
I believe that Age 29, goes easy on you for the first game, then crushes you for the rest of your life. This assumption is made with data
In some games at Magnus 29, the computer takes time to think. When that happens I always get crushed. In other games the computer reacts instantaneously at every move. Those games I'm able to win sometimes. I think there is a glitch that sometimes occurs related to how long the computer allows itself to think.
I beat Beth at age 15, which might not be that great, but I was surprised because it is well above my rating and I didn’t think that I would have a chance
Same thing. New to chess, and "beat" age 29 Magnus twice in a row. Could be a marketing trick to get newbies like me interested. I have NO reason to think I played well. Anyways, I can't post the link as I am too new, but here's this: [Event "?"] [Site "?"] [Date "2020.11.21"] [Round "?"] [White "sibes187"] [Black "Magnus Carlsen (Age 29)"] [Result "1-0"] 1. f4 f6 2. c4 f5 3.
