interesting game ending - Chess Forums

here's the ending to a nice little game i recently played. i was down in material early after making an obvious blunder (really had no idea what i was thinking at the time).

however, i was able to capitalize on my opponents lack of piece development and central King position to force a mate.

comments are greatly appreciated.

3. ... Qd7 looks like a huge mistake on your opponent's part. Seems like Nd7 is his only move. Well actually no, then 4. Bd6 and you still have a curshing advantage. Nice win!

Nice, very nice. It's also good to finally see someone leave useful comments on a game in the forums. Especially for a youngster like me.

yeah, the position was pretty dominant i found at this point. the queen really had no squares to go to. powerful little bishops, aren't they ;)
