is Bxg5 a good move?

In this case is Nxg5 a good move or can it give black an advantage? Here an example taken from one of my games. Although i missed the move Be2# during the actual game i was still able to manage a win a few moves later. Nevertheless is it worth it to sacrifice the knight to bust open black's kingside pawns?

In this case Nxg5 is objecivtley a very strong move (I think the best) but the following attack wasn't played exactly (but still really good). 14. Qg3? is objectivley a fault because of

1... Ne4 2. Bf6+ Kxf6 3. Qh4+ Kg7

(not so good but still enogh 3... Ng5 4. Qh6+ Ke7 5. Qxg5+ Ke8 with material advantage)

4. Qxe4 Qf6 and white's attack is over.
