They do have a computer workout function in V2 which allowed you to practice various endgames and random positions against a computer but that required the use of Java and will not be included in V3.

Java seems to be dying. Noticed MS new Edge browser doesn't support nor does Chrome or Android.
It is a shame. I was hoping that Chess.com could provide all the tools but many of the review and analysis functions depend on Java. I may have to reconsider and buy an engine and GUI.
Apparently the new browser versions will disable the settings panel, because it confuses the users...

Well, Firefox is still supporting Java, at least for now.
I would like to able to set up custom positions to see how the computer would play it out. Is there a way to do so on chess.com?
I'm still deciding between online chess study vs installed software e.g, CT Art. I like the ability to play and practice from any device anywhere. Thanks
