Bellow I posted a game I just played against a 1550 rated player (I'm playing as black), in which they played a wild sequence of 5 ONLY moves to trap my queen starting with a rook sacrifice.
That means the rook sacrifice only works if the next 5 moves were previously calculated, and for context, the whole sequence from (before) the rook sacrifice to the queen trap was about 90 seconds.
You could argue that this person didn't see the whole thing and only sacrificed the rook to win a pawn and a knight but no, they played the absolutly brilliant Bh5 move in just 6 seconds!!!!
After the game was done I was surprised that Bh5 was the only winning move there, allowing me to simply kick it away with the pawn, and it took me a few minutes with stockfish to understand what was the point of provoking g6. I would like to ask whoever is reading this to try and understand the point of Bh5 without using the engine. Good luck! I would have never thought of playing such move.
Reminder that this person was 1550 rated, I haven't reported them yet because I'm not sure if maybe this wasn't that hard to see, and if I'm being too salty because I lost.... But that's why I'm posting this, I want to hear opinions.
I should also add that I completly missed 25.Bd5+ for some reason, but at that point it doesn't matter, Re7 traps my queen.
