I apologize for reacting negatively to your advice. Funny thing is ... at the time, I thought you didn't know me at all because I study CONSTANTLY going through steps without analysis and I DO think for myself but you didn't know that about me. I felt a bit insulted.

And now, having (hopefully) grown a bit, I realize you were SPOT ON with your advice. I appreciate you taking your time to open my eyes. Wishing you the best on your chess journey!

They are called growing "pains" for a reason

"Tactics flow from a superior position"

This means you have to have a strategically superior position.

That means you need to have a firm understanding of positional play.

So what makes a superior position?

More space.

Control of central squares.

Piece activity.

You have the initiative.

Your opponent has none of these things.

You just walked us backwards into what eventually ends in a WIN!! I have lots of documents and vids and drawings and questions and tests trying to pin all these concepts but I didn't put any of it together into this logic flow. I have so much to do! BANG-UP SUMMATION!!

So much easier said than done.

BOY, don't I know it! hahahahh! And just when I think I have something figured out, it GOES DEEPER YET! hahahah! And there's nothing I'd rather be doing! Well, almost nothing.
