You played fairly well in the first eight moves. You had a good advantage in the opening, but you let it slip with an unsound pawn sacrifice. 15. Qc2! would've equalized, but you didn't spot that move. From there, things went downhill, and 18. Qe4? made things worse. You played well in the opening. However, you couldn't keep your advantage. Therefore, you lost.
Losing Against An Early Out Queen :@ (Oh The Anguish!)

I know for a fact there was a win here.
How can you possibly know that. You were better but winning?
5. Nf3? is a mistake - why retreat. You should continue developping with 5. Be3. By the way, 4... exd4? was mistake by black. When behind in development he should try to keep the game closed with 4... d6.
8. Bd3 may be somewhat better than Be2.
9. e5? doesn't work. Black is already better after that move. If you want to sacrifice the e-pawn then simpy 9. 0-0 is better since should black take he will loose time and e-file will open towards his king.

Wow. Exquisite analysis sir! Do you mean I should have played like THIS?

Well, at least the result was better in that game although I think I like 4. d4 from the first game more than 4. Be2.
2...qf6 isnt a great move but its not a forced loss.
It isn't a forced loss, but it's weak. It exposes the queen and doesn't help Black develop any minor piece. It's dubious, to say the least.

i know for a fact there was a win there for black
Since you are far superior to me in chess, hence I challenge you to a sword duel, sir!
Western fencing or kalari? You decide.

d4 was played here too. But in 7th move. And it allowed me to develop the classical twin-pawn center that was indeed very strong. I couldn't have pulled off the mating attack without the strong e5 double discovery which was of course made possible only by d4.

Explain to me how it is useful after black replies with 5...c6
FiveSwords: Get them knives ready and I'd see you at the old forsaken dojo!

Argh!
I hereby announce that I am officially joining the pfren-haters club.
(somebody tell me where it's located)
Old man, do they still have the hemlock-death-penalty system active in Athens?
Wow. Exquisite analysis sir! Do you mean I should have played like THIS?
13. Bg5 (instead of 13. Ng5) wins the knight.

anyway if white and black both play the right moves after 2...qf6?! then black gets a rather weak position and will have to defend carefully for many moves. its absurd and illogical for black to want to do this of course...but white isnt just forcing a win or anything
2. ... Qf6? is such a bad move that I would expect to win from anybody after that move. I may be wrong, but would not be surprised that with best play for both sides after 2. ...Qf6? that the game is a win for White.
I know for a fact there was a win here. I have lost EVERY time when I used that as black, against chessmaster 9000. Here is the game. Where did I go wrong?
