Yeah its obvious that QUEEN is the most powerful piece in chess, but let have a closer look.
Sometime I realizes that KNIGHT is more powerful or useful than QUEEN as it can jump over pieces and can checkmate at complicated situations.
Do you agree with it or the most powerful piece depends on how you played it?🤔
It depends in which part of the game and how you play
Situational, queen overall but the knight is the only piece that moves COMPLETELY differently than any other piece, a piece can not attack a queen without being attacked by the queen itself, except for the knight who moves differently, this also means it can do nasty forks and discovered attacks are way easier, but it gets pinned way easier than any other peice, keep in mind it’s entirely situational, your bishops could be the most powerful in a situation, it all truly matters what is happening

To me there is a major difference between being more powerful, and in certain situations being more effective.

The king is the most powerful piece on this board.
Queen - Rook - Bishop - Knight - King - Pawn. It's not really a matter of opinion. This has been analyzed for over a century and we're quantitatively aware of their value.
Yes in different positions they assume different values, as do all the different pawns, but this is a statistical average.
