My first game at Chess.com
I spotted one tactical shot your opponent missed: 25. Bxb7+ Kxb7 26. Rxd8, which wins the exchange.
Both sides made a lot of positional mistakes. Ordinarily, for example, you should avoid getting "queen slapped" (Qxd8+ ...Kxd8), avoid getting isolated pawns, avoid being forced to put your knight on the rim, etc. Otherwise, congratulations on your PGN post, your win, and thanks for sharing. I'm going to save your opening as another example of how a "queen slap" can arise.
Your second move is incorrect. You should take the pawn on d4.
True. I used to play that symmetrical move myself in the old days, treat it like a gambit, and somehow survive it, but per 365chess stats, that opening 1. e4 e5 2. d4 d5 3. dxe5 dxe4 has a 9/9 = 100% win rate for White!
White seems to have a clearly better position up to move 28 where g6 blunders a pawn, after that it is drawish. The move that seems to cost white the game is 43. Bc6 which wastes a tempo in a critical position. With 43. Ke5 white king would have time to take the e4 pawn, sacrifice (if necessary) the bishop for the c-pawn and then head with his king for a1. If the white king then moves between a1 and b1 it is impossible for blacks a-pawn to queen.
Thank you for all of your comments and help! If white had won the exchange that starts on move 24 then I would indeed have been in trouble. Truth be told, I felt very pushed by my opponent and were basically hoping for a draw. Not until quite late did I get the courage to try to go for a win. I guess in the future I will definitely just go ahead and take exd4! I am also happy to have discovered http://www.365chess.com/ ! It seems very useful for game analysis!
Finally, I have two questions:
1. What does the term PGN post mean?
2. How does the game analyser work (when I click it I get a message saying that I get one free analyzis per week)?
Thank you again guys! Have a good day and see you soon again :)
I just meant a post with PGN (a playable board based on your PGN notation) in it, in contrast to a link or pure text.
Ah! OK :) Thank you for your feedback. Do you think I will benefit from doing a computer analysis on my game? Cheers

I've never tried the analyzer on this site, and I don't trust computer analysis anyway, so personally I have no interest in using it. However, considering all the positional mistakes in the game, mistakes that the computer would probably detect, you might like it.
Hello guys!
I am a beginner and this was my first game here. I played as black. Please help me improve. All comments and insights would be greatly appreciated!
I also made this blog post about the game: http://www.chess.com/blog/oscisi/my-first-game-at-chesscom-and-video-on-how-to-annotate
Thank you guys!
I'm looking forward to some good feedback :)
