Dear Friends, I'm new here. I like to replay famous chess games, using the game notation, and I do this at my chessboard. But when the analysis goes on as to what moves should have happened, then returns to what actually happened, if I follow with my pieces, I have to go back to the very beginning and play through all the moves before arriving where I left off. Do you follow analyses with your own chess set, and how do you manage this?
I play over recorded games using a chess engine (Fritz 15) in infinite analysis mode. Then a side line can be played as a new variation, and it's easy to step back to the main line.
