The second game was very nice!
My games against WFM!
Rishi, yes I enjoyed my second game. I especially liked my 30. ...c5 and 31. ...d4 moves very much. Other moves were easy to play.
I would love to annotate the games, but I dont have time for that right now. When I get some time, I will annotate.
Benkku, yes I did not find anything better than 10. ...f5.
I had defeated a NM with black pieces with the same opening but with a different move order.
So, two black wins and two white loses against titled players!
If knight moves then mate in one. If queen moves away from the second rank then mate in one. Any other move then I win a piece and still have a chance for a quick mate.

I have strange feeling with White's play on 2nd game. For examples, Bg2 is weird (what's the bishop is doing there ?) and why 12.Rhg1 instead of exf5, opening up the center ?
Black's play makes more sense to me (Hippo rules!). But what's wrong with 10...Nf6 forking white pawns ?
Nf6 looked good but I thought that white could sacrifice a pawn to open up the center and so hesitated to play Nf6. But objectively speaking Nf6 could have been a better try than f5. Regarding Bg2, I don't know why she played it but Rhg1 makes sense because the rook tries to control the open file.
Very nice win indeed!
As usual though, the silicon beast makes mere mortals look foolish. White could have saved the game, and, in silcon terms, more or less had equality, with 33. c6, giving back one of the extra pawns.
Still, that doesnt take away anything from the win. You created a difficult challenge for your opponent with smartly aggressive play, and she cracked first.
Hi everyone, recently I got an opportunity to play WFM Monika in one of our team match, that too on board one!
I lost the first game with white pieces. I made a lot of mistakes and missed the tactical opportunities of my opponent and the WFM played well and took full advantage of my mistakes.
I won the very interesting second game with black pieces. In the early middle game, I lost a pawn during the series of exchanges due to some miscalculation but somehow managed to get my king to safety. Later, even though I was a pawn down in the middlegame, I had the advantage of bishop pair against my opponent's bishop and knight. The bishop pair proved strong eventually when I sacrificed a pawn to attack her king and she resigned shortly.
Two good games and I learnt a lot from these two games.
I am posting the games here.
Please feel free to comment on the games!!!
