My most interesting game

Here is a game I have just played.

My question is should Black have won, considering he was 7 points up and had 25 minutes left after the last move was played? Note: Black ran out of time, thinking about the end position, even with 25 minutes to spare.

Black should never lose such a game.

16....0-0 or 16....0-0-0 (depending of which is better I did not calculate in dephts) is way enough to get out of too dangerous things.

Just exchange pieces, even at the cost of some pawns that's not a big deal, and aim for an endgame with one full extra rook.

Thank you for your comment.

There are a few potential problems that can occur after this position:

White threatens Pxe5 threatening the queen and knight simultaneously. If black tries to threaten the white Queen with Nc2 then Qb1 allows White to attack the Knight and still threaten Pxe5.

If black moves his knight out of the way, then Pxe5 threatening the black Queen possibly followed by Bxf7+ once Black moves the Queen out of the way can also cause more problems.

Castling either side does not stop the attack on the black Queen and Knight after Pxe5.

Before Black can set up a few exchanges he needs to find a way to solve these potential problems, in other words, simplify the position in a way that suits him not White.

I agree that once he does this he should win. I believe I was lucky to get a win out of this.

Castling kingside does stop the threat. After 16...O-O 17. fxe5 Qxe5, easily defending the threats. The problem is that the fxe5 threat is single minded, and easily met. After 17... Qxe5 white should avoid the exchange of queens, and black has a great game.

after f4, 0-0 then, if f4xe5, qxe5. Ifd2f4 QxQ. after rxq nc3! forking rooks and black must win from there

First of all this is how you play the Guicco:

If you are going to play 4 Knights, dont bother playing Bc4.
