You need to work on your thought process, checking all possibly captures, checks and all options for both sides, EVERY move. Go to a longer time control if you cant do it at your current time control. It has to be become a solid habit. You can play faster once you have the thought process down.

You need to play longer time controls so you can take the time to properly evaluate all moves. When your opponent makes a move, were you expecting it? Why or why not? How does it change the position? What do you want to accomplish when you make a move? Every move must have a purpose. Before making the move, how does it affect your position? Any hanging pieces? Are you setting yourself up for a pin, fork etc? This takes time to do properly, especially when starting out.
This checklist might help.
