6. Nxf7+ is a well known sacrifice called the Fried liver. It even has a wikipedia page.

I don't have to deal with fried liver because I play 2.Nf6

6.Nxf7 without "+".
It seems (from fairly recent correspondence thematic games), that with "best play" the Fried Liver is a draw. However, the position is much, much tougher to handle properly as Black, so 5...Nxd5 should be avoided.
