Why didn't he take your horse after 12. Nb5?

But 13...Bxa3 14 NxBa3 loses bishop and you were lucky he did not do it. 13...cxNb4 is necessary. Lots of little things but your pawns provided compensation and 39...Nxd6 was available to you.

You mean why I didn't take after 12. Nb5. In case you haven't noticed, I played Black.

Actually, I don't think I lose anything after 13. ...Bxa3 14. Nxa3 Qxg5. I did overlook 39. ...Nxd6 though.
Could anyone look at this game and give me his/her analysis? I would like to know where I made a mistake and what I should have played. (I already know some of the mistakes, but I would like to know what I should have played anyway.)
