That was a good job.  I guess with me, I would have taken the bishop earlier at move 12 QxB.  But I like a simpler game, that is just me.  The complications were getting pretty hairy on here.  He was beat early.  Good game.

Fun game. I would suggest working on tactics books. Unless I missed something, 14. Qxe5 puts you a minor piece and pawn up. Black is still saddled with his weak queenside pawns too. With the dark square bishop off the board, that would give you the access point at e7 to bring in the punishment with your rooks. Game over : )

The inclusion of 'One of' would imply a series of games. The game does seem suspect for a complete beginner, but the missed free pieces smacks of newbie. I wish I played something that resembled chess when I first started..... it was more of a chimp with a lighter.

As I said in my comments, it was one of my first game on Live Chess. And my ranking is around 1200 on blitz game (too many defeats this time...) I never played in club or so.

14 Qxe5 of course

 But also, 19 Qxe6 wins a rook I think

As I watched the game play out, I couldn't help but wonder what an interesting move 13. Ne6 would have been...

As one of your "first games" such shows great promise, but you really should have grabbed the bishop (as others have pointed out) it is safe to do so and you retain the initiative.  Of course, he left everything hanging for you and when blessed with such an oponent you might as well wait.  Good early development and getting your pieces working together.
