opening win rate, statistic question.

I wonder how to interpret the winrate of openings (inside the analysis report).
For black I play mainly sicilian defence (maybe about 80% or so) win-rate is at 48%
However as people play against people with around the same level.
And because of that the win chances is about 50% if all goes normal right ? (statistically)
so is 48% good then a good or a bad sign ?
